Curtain UP on a New Blogging Season at The Starborn Revue!
Hello everyone, and welcome back to The Starborn Revue! Consider this the playbill — the program — of what’s to come in the new season.
A revue in the theatre is all about variety, and that’s what you’ll find in the new season.
This year, besides arts-related posts, interviews and spotlights, I will also be highlighting some fantastic middle grade novels, not all of them arts-related. I hope to do some interviews with authors, as well. Since I write middle grade novels, I want to share with you more of the wonderful novels I read.
I want to explore more of the ways kids (and grown-ups) can let their creativity shine, and the ways we all can promote the importance of creativity in schools and in our lives in general. I’ll be looking at various ways to do that, and I’m open to suggestions, too.
First on the program — next week, I’ll be highlighting one of the novels I read over the summer, Survival Strategies of the Almost Brave, by Jen White. The following week, we’ll see some amazing kids who are shining brightly in the arts.
If you want to make sure you don’t miss a post, be sure to subscribe — the RSS feed and email sign-up are in the sidebar on the right. I’d love to see you back here next week. Lady, the Theatre Cat is waiting in the Box Office to greet you!
What would YOU like to see here on The Starborn Revue?
Sounds like a great year of a variety of posts. Look forward to your review of “Survival Strategies of the Almost Brave,” as I haven’t read that.
Thanks, Pat! I’m looking forward to the variety, too! I highly recommend “Survival Strategies”.
Here’s wishing you a successful blogging year! As Pat said, it sounds like a great variety of posts with something for everyone.
Thanks, Teresa!
Awesome! It sounds like you will have a great variety of topics! 🙂 I can’t wait! 🙂
